WELCOME BACK TO THE 2011-2012 SCHOOL YEAR!
Our goal is to provide students with a well balanced, nutritious and reasonably priced meal. General information regarding our program is outlined below.
SCHOOL LUNCH – Make the Healthy Choice. Our USDA approved school lunch provides one-third of the Recommended Daily Allowances (RDA) of the five basic food groups for children K-12. Under federal regulations known as “offer vs. serve”, students can opt to take a minimum of three of the five components or all five for the price of a complete lunch.
LUNCH PRICE
Elementary $2.60 – Secondary $2.85 - $3.35 (depending on item)
Milk $.50
BREAKFAST PRICE
Elementary $1.25 – Secondary $1.50
LUNCH ZANGLE DEBIT SYSTEM – The District has moved from the Skyward Lunch Debit System to the Zangle System for the 2011-2012 School Year. This system is a student based system, not a family system. You will need to make a separate payment for each of your children. Your student will be receiving a new key pad number, 8 digits, with the first 3 numbers always being 200. Please observe this new number when it is mailed to your child in August. You will still be able to make payments online, but the system has changed to the “Parent Connect” System.
Nutrition Services Mission Statement
Farmington Public Schools' Nutrition Services Department is dedicated to providing all students with a balanced and inviting menu for the well-being of a healthy body and mind that encourages a positive learning experience.
